Suggested Lesson plan

Good morning all; I thought I would place another idea into my blog to hopefully receive some ideas for my lesson plan subject.
Veteran's is upon us, beside the normal who, what, where, and when-what other type of information would you like to know of the subject-Veteran's Day?
Anyone that has an idea that can make this subject more interesting to a elementary student what would it be?
